Black Cherry Metallic paint looks good on just about anything. But it looks really good coating a slick 1951 Chevrolet 3100 5-window pickup! This street rod truck is powered by a small block Chevy engine with A/C, power steering, and power brakes. An aftermarket intake, Holley 4-barrel carburetor, HEI ignition, and dress up kit to that V8 powerhouse. This truck just received a new fuel tank, cleaned fuel lines, new carburetor, new plugs, new fuel pump, new fuel filter, coolant flush, new thermostat, and more!
The engine is backed by a 3-speed automatic and highway friendly gearing. Inside you will find bucket seats, a tilt steering column, AM/FM/Cassette player, and a combination of vinyl and cloth between the seats, door panels, headliner, and rear paneling of the truck. A Corvette style wood steering wheel looks great in front of a white face Stewart Warner gauges. The dash and window trim are done in a marbled look with the same Black Cherry color paint. It is a really classy touch.
The bed has ample storage with a large diamond plate toolbox, and the inside of the bed is covered in diamond plate as well which not only looks great, but makes this bed much more usable than a painted one. Alloy wheels are wrapped in white wall radial tires bringing a modern touch to the exterior. There are several custom touches on this truck, but most noticeable are the 1959 Cadillac taillights that have been frenched into the rear fenders! The headlights are also frenched in with tri-bar headlights, and a Jaguar hood ornament has been added up front. Chrome front bumper, a painted grill, and a roll pan out back finish off the exterior in style. This is an older build that has been garage kept and carries a clean Florida title. A brand new carburetor was just installed, along with other normal maintenance items like fluids, draining the fuel tank and putting in fresh gas with stabilizer, and a tune up.
If you’re in the market for a street rod 5-window pickup in the 47-53 body style, look no further! You won’t find a better deal than this!
