Under the satin black wrapped hood sits the original 290 horsepower 4V 302 cubic inch V8 engine. That is bolted up to the original Four-Speed close ratio manual transmission and out back to a stout 9” rear end with 3.50 gears from the factory.
The Boss 302 engine block is a special strengthened 4-bolt main version of the production 302. It used forged steel connecting rods, a forged steel crankshaft, and special cylinder heads utilizing 2.33” intake and 1.72” exhaust valves. An aluminum high rise intake and a Holley 750 CFM 4-barrel carburetor sit atop this powerful small block. This Boss has power front disc brakes from the factory. This is a 2-owner vehicle that has been garage kept and restored where needed. The engine was rebuilt about 2,000 miles ago with receipts and the engine compartment restored while the engine was out. The car has been repainted back to the factory color and had new Boss stripe kit added.
This Boss 302 comes with a good amount of documentation including the Marti Report, window sticker, and restoration receipts and information. It also comes with the original air cleaner if the chrome aftermarket isn’t to your liking. The trunk is nicely detailed with a trunk mat and jacking instructions sticker.
Where else are you going to find a 1969 Boss 302 with less than 60,000 miles, documented? Don’t let this one get away or you will regret it later!
