The Plymouth Satellite, sister to the Road Runner and GTX, is an iconic muscle car with big power, great body lines and an unmistakable sound from the horn! One of only 701 convertibles built for 1970 and big block power, watch out you have arrived. This particular example features a built 440 CID V8 under the hood with the infamous B&M shifter on the 3-speed automatic tranny. Out back is an 8 ¾ rear end with posi gears that get you going in a hurry! Slide into the bucket seat and grab the shifter and you will immediately understand why people love muscle cars. Turn the key and hear the 440 V8 roar to life through full-length headers and dual exhaust. That powerhouse is fed by a Quick Fuel Technologies 4-barrel carburetor on an Edelbrock intake manifold. A heavy duty radiator has been installed to keep things cool under the hood, even on long drives. The Plum Crazy paint with black center stripe looks absolutely stunning on this 2-door convertible Satellite. The paint is polished to a high shine and was just treated to a ceramic coating. The black stripe really accentuates the hood bulge the Satellite is known for. The interior is in black vinyl and grey suede. Mopar rally wheels give this car a sleeper vibe and maintain the factory look. This Mopar muscle car is incredibly clean and nicely restored inside and out. It is ready to show and is highly detailed.
